DO NOT reproduce, copy, create "derivative works" (artworks based off of the artists' original work), tattoo or display her artwork without the artists' permission. Selling artwork derived from Simone Hester d/b/a Simone Hester Art LLC’s original artwork for profit without giving the artist (the original owner, artist, and creator, Simone Hester d/b/a Simone Hester Art LLC) credit and compensation is strictly prohibited. Additionally, after one purchases any of the artists' artworks, the buyer DOES NOT own the copyrights for the artwork after purchase. The original artist (Simone Hester d/b/a Simone Hester Art LLC) still has copyright, even after the artwork has been sold. This means even after an artwork is PURCHASED, the buyer (the person who has purchased the artwork) DOES NOT OWN THE COPYRIGHT nor does the buyer have the right to copy, stencil, print, tattoo, or reproduce the artists' artwork in any way, and/or reproduce and sell for profit without the original artist granting permission first. This means Simone Hester’s d/b/a Simone Hester Art LLC’s original artwork should NOT appear or be reproduce (in any form) on t-shirts, socks, art prints, coffee mugs, cell phone covers, key-chains, printed cards, fabric, etc. without the written explicit permission from the artist, Simone Hester d/b/a Simone Hester Art LLC. Even if the artist and the purchaser of the artwork are family, friends, acquaintances, worked together in the past or have known each other for years, artwork created and produced by Simone Hester d/b/a Simone Hester Art LLC should not be reproduced in any way without her permission. If ANY artwork produced and created by Simone Hester d/b/a Simone Hester Art LLC is reproduced in any way without her permission, this is Copyright Infringement and legal action will be taken. Please note that in addition to legal action taken against copyright infringement, legal fees associated with any legal action will be added.

 

USING ARTWORK FOR A TATTOO DESIGN

Tattoo Artists will need a written approval by the original artist before tattooing artwork in order to avoid copyright infringement issues. Any tattoo work requires the purchase of a digital file of the artwork.

Please Note: When purchasing a digital file, you are receiving a non-exclusive digital license of one (1) particular artwork for one (1) personal tattoo. Any other reproduction, copy or use of the image will be in violation of copyright law.

File Format:

A PDF of the requested image and a letter of approval will be sent via email within 48 hours of your initial purchase. Please be sure the email is typed correctly before completing check out. If the email is not seen within 48 hours, please check your spam. If the email is not found in spam, the email address may have been entered incorrectly. If this is the case, please Contact the Artist and a new PDF and letter of approval will be sent.

 

USING IMAGES OF SIMONE HESTER'S D/B/A SIMONE HESTER ART LLC'S ARTWORK ON WEBSITE, SOCIAL MEDIA & BLOGS

The artist does allow sharing on social media outlets, but be sure to give the artist credit for her work! Please include the artists' name (Fine Artist Simone Hester or Simone Hester Art LLC), the name of the artwork and a link to her art website (www.simonehester.com) within the post.

For Bloggers or Website Designers who would like to include an image of the artists' original artwork(s) within a website or blog page please Contact the Artist and ask her for permission. Within the request, please inform the artist with the Title/Name and Medium (painting, drawing, mixed media, etc.) of the artwork of interest and why you would like to include her artwork in the blog or website. Please note that if the request is a part of the design of a website, etc., a digital license purchase for said artwork is required. Please credit the artist (i.e. Artist Simone Hester or Simone Hester Art LLC) with a working link to her art website (simonehester.com), specifically the link to the landing page of the original image. If these requests are not met, the artist will contact you in request for you to credit her (the artist) and add a link to her website.

LICENSING AGREEMENT

If you are a company who is interested in using one or multiples of Simone's artwork, please Contact the Artist so a licensing agreement can be discussed. Please be advised even with a licensing agreement, neither you nor the business entity owns copyright of the artwork(s). Copyright ownership still belongs to the artist, Simone Hester d/b/a Simone Hester Art LLC. A licensing agreement is an arrangement to where the original artist keeps the copyright and the artist is granting a company permission to use artwork(s) for a nominal fee during a predetermined time-frame.
